On raising an enlightened male

This morning, Evan not only noticed my new shoes immediately, he complimented them profusely.

Some day, his future wife (or husband?) will thank me heartily.

Go Evan! Does this mean you figured out what shoes we are supposed to be wearing this season? Cause I'm still in shoes from at least 3 seasons ago and they're getting pretty scruffy...

OMG, now that is sweet. You go Evan! You're raising him right, I have to say!

What a sweetie. While you're at it, be sure he understands that you never tell a woman her butt is big. Sam's told me that a few times, and while my logical mind says my butt isn't all that big, it always smarts.

Your little guy could teach lessons in awareness and appreciation to my husband! Although maybe he only noticed because, as a little kid, his eyes are fairly close to the level of your shoes to start with...?
