No pressure, but just think how silly I'll feel if this entry gets no comments
It's National Delurking Week, or so Suzanne at Mimilou and Phantom Scribbler tell me. I know there are plenty of you out there who visit this blog regularly and never comment. Care to say hello this week?
Or not. Whatever. (Do you think my inability to put the pressure on -- even for something this simple -- says anything about why I don't ever want to return to my PR career?)

Just so you don't feel silly, even though I'm not a lurker... HI! :)
I'm not sure I really qualify as a lurker since access to your blog was my birthday gift. I just can't stand to see MY little girl feel silly. Reading your blog is now part of my daily routine(not an easy thing to do since I have become surf controlled at work.) Just a thought that has nothing to do with today's post: your daughter is remarkably like my daughter. Get used to the challenging--you're gonna live with it for a long time. Take heart--if you are as lucky as I am she will grow up to as great a grown-up as you are. :-)
No, I'm not a lurker. But I could be...if you'd rather. (*grin*)
I learned about this (Lurker Week, who thinks of these things! Love it.) from Suzanne as well, but, um, didn't post anything on my blog because, well, who the hell lurks on my blog? You though - you have your MOM! It doesn't get any better than that!
I've been reading your blog for several months now. I love the gentleness in your descriptions of the kids and your parenting. I think we might be almost neighbors. I live on Central Jersey, near Princeton, and your descriptions of Rt. 1 and Music Now sound familiar :)
Hi, glad for the chance to out myself as a lurker - I love your site! Always highly interesting and full of great ideas for other parents. Ever since I read about Evan doing his puzzles months ago, I started sitting down with my little one (a few months younger than Evan) and doing a puzzle or two a day. He's still not very good at them, but I'm glad you made me think to do this, together. Sorry - don't have a blog to link back to at the moment. Hope you don't find it freaky to have 'lurkers' on board. - Fiona
I'm an occasional poster rather than a lurker, but anyway, just thought I'd let you know I'm still out hear reading - hi! Keep up the funny.
I'm here!
Hello, my name is Lulu and I am a lurker.
Love the blog, have been here for months.
(And now I sound like I'm the creepy guy in a trench coat at the back of the movie theater watching The Lion King.)
Thanks to all of you who didn't want me to feel silly. I really didn't want to feel silly. :)
Anne, Liesl, Fiona and Lulu, you guys have made my day. Nice to have names to connect with the IP addresses. I'd love it if you'd comment more often now that you've outed yourselves, but I won't be insulted if you don't. I have a terrible habit of lurking on blogs I enjoy and never commenting, so who am I to cast stones?
Steph, Jennifer, Susan, Rosemary and Tenille, thanks for the extra pats on the back. I'm *always* happy to read comments from you guys. And Mom, that goes double for you. I love that you didn't want your little girl to feel silly. :)
It's STILL National Delurking Week...
Liesl, I have a good friend who must live right near you (she's the reason for my Rt. 1 forays). I think we're about an hour away from each other. I have a great mental image now of you looking around your music class trying to figure out if I'm one of the other moms, though!
I'm a lurker! Your blog is on the list of ones I check out daily. I love your stories and you have such talent for telling them!!
Sandy
I am a lurker, you don't want to know how I ended up here ;) I think I have posted comments before. Anyway, I am about to have my second baby, and they will have the same age difference as your two do. You are my window into the future :)
Have been a lurker for months .. i never post anything, but i love reading about your kids - my youngest is Evan's age, so i've got some similar issues going on.
Tee hee! My kiddo and I actually attend a similar program called Kids' MusicRound, although most of the moms/kids in my neck of the woods attend Music Now. Honest to Pete, the reason I don't go to Music Now is that I would have to *gasp* drive on Rt. 1 to get there. I'm such a wimp in NJ traffic...
But I'm glad to help make your day, and I will be sure to comment more often :)
I'm a little late for this. . .but also a lurker, I admit it! I have no idea how I found you, but glad I did. I check in often- my daughter Riley is the same age as Evan- she turns two on February 2nd!
Lisa
*waves* Hi I am a lurker and I love reading your blog! I have an Evan also. He is close in age to your Evan.
Welcome, Sandy, Jennifer, Wendy, Lisa and Melissa! (This sounds like an AA meeting for moms of nearly-2s or something.) Thanks for speaking up and letting me know you're here.
There's all this pressure to be witty and charming now that I know you're all out there... :)
It's... uh... STILL National Delurking Week. Anyone else? (I do see you there, Paul...)
Better late than never. Not so much a lurker as an intermittent commenter but wanted to say, "Hi, I'm here!!"
I'm two weeks late delurking, but you know I try to catch up on your life every so often by reading your blog.
